leaf bird plucking fruit. shooting parameters: 7D+100-400mm, f/11, 1/180, iso 200, EC +1.5, fl 400mm, AV mode. C&C welcome.

Nice to see this species. You could have used a wider aperture like f6.1 to get more shutter speed. Since these birds are very swift a higher shutter speed helps. The light seems a bit harsh. Did you give a +ve EC? There seems to be some loss of details. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

I agree that you needed a higher shutter speed. Are you clicking in raw or in jpeg? If jpeg, which picturestyle are you using?
