What an image! The splendid photograph records its characteristic hunting style of hovering in the air like an aircraft and dive vertically into the river or vast waterbody.Its drooping nose reminds me the landing mode of famous Concord aircraft.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Lovely image. This seems quite large for a kingfisher, the wing spread gives that feel i guess.
