Shot horizontally and cropped vertically for composition.
We were tracking big cats based on alarm calls and were moving fast when we saw this beauty. Light was not great and the bird was bit far as well, so clicked couple of record shots (and this is my first sighting of this bird too) and continued our attempt to sight a tiger. Great to see an image of Paradise flycatcher. It is nice to see it in the open without any intervening vegetation blocking the view. I am sure you will get another chance later in better light.

Nice that you could photograph it. I am still not that lucky :(. I remember seeing a similar image from Praveen, seems it is his favorite perch. Wish it was closer. Thanks for sharing.

We both were on the same jeep and Praveen managed to get the better out of the situation that I did!
