Hi Karan,

Welcome to IndiaWilds..!!

Nice first post of a tiger. The head turn and the eye contact is nice. I would have liked some more space on the left to include the body in full and also at the bottom. Some more sharpness would have enhanced the image further. Do post the EXIF details to help in commenting. Thanks for sharing.

Mr. not Ms. I guess it is a typographical error. He is an elder statesman.

Welcome to IndiaWilds Karan!

I agree with the previous comments.

You need to be careful about cutting off body parts at the frame edges. It often happens when you are excited, especially in the presence of a large tiger.

What was the shutter speed, ISO and aperture used?

It seems the shutter speed was less, as the image is not sharp.

You should also look at the tutorial on increasing sharpness while handholding. Indiawilds: Land of the Tiger. Conservation, Wildlife Photography, Communities (http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=268) (one needs to login to access it. I have had many fond memories in the Bijrani range. Yet to find time to go back there.
Cheers,
Sabyasachi
