Wish there was more detail in the sky.

Hi Udai,

Nice waterfall.Thinking if you could have possibly used a higher aperture, to get the background more focussed.Agree with Apana about the sky,it is looking a bit over exposed.

Liked the composition.Keep posting..

Udai,
You have minimised the sky as the sky was lacking in details. If you could have used a circular polariser, then left part of the sky would have appeared nice and the right part wouldn't have the washed out look.

I have heard that this place is good in monsoons. I wish you could photograph this place in the morning when the fall is lighted.

Cheers,

Thanks everyone. Yes, I now realise I should have used a narrower aperture to get better DOF. This shot was taken in the evening between 4:00 - 4:30 pm. With slightly better understanding of photography now, I think I should make another trip there soon.

Am not an expert yet in ISOs and exposures, but I think the scrubs/bushes is certainly distracting.

If you had a chance to move a few yards to the left and perhaps thi is where the 12-24mm would have helped.

When one is clicking a rare bird, or a big cat its easy to get away but, I think right composition is a must for waterfalls.
