I love their eyes. Wish you had frontal lighting and separation between the head and the branch above. Were you shooting from the ground or from a vehicle?

I was shooting from vehicle. During this shot I was laid down in the vehicle and as soon as I came out the bird flew away

Lovely eye contact. The conditions were difficult to photograph. You could have increased the ISO to 400 to get more shutter speed for more sharpness and details. Thanks for sharing.
