My first ever posting of a Sambar. Tadoba when we were tracking the tigers.

Nice one. The white balance is a bit off. You need to tweak it a bit. Opening up the shadows and lowering the contrast slightly will strengthen the image. Thanks for sharing.

Nice close. The details in the eye are nice. A slight less space on the left would enhance the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Changed the WB from Day Light to Cloudy. This gives a slight golden hour glow to the subject.

Opened the shadows fully to 5. Lowered the contract to -2. All in DPP.

I notice that the shadows are gone with more details around the eye, ears, nostrils and forehead. But the image looks soft. Your inputs, please.

I checked out the Light room. Costs about USD300. Shall do in my new billing cycle :-)

Regards
Anand

I think slightly less opening up of shadows and contrast one bit more.

Lightroom 4 has been launched and the price is much lower. Better to buy it.
