Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 800, f7.1, 1/1000, clicked from a very awkward position after getting down from the boat.

Beautiful capture. Did you try capturing it from the back side, the texture of the feathers looks great and would be great having it, it seems.

The red eye looks nice. The low angle adds to the composition. Good details and sharpness. Thanks for sharing.
