I do not go for much PP. In this case I changed the picture style to portrait, cropped and re-sized it.

Nice perch and good light. A slight head turn towards you would have enhanced the eye contact further. I think a lower ISO like 400 and a wider aperture like f8 would have sufficed in this case. As there is slight noise in the background due to the high ISO. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I have an image looking straight into the camera where neither of the eyes are clearly seen. Will try the exposure suggested by you in the next two three days. I have seen this bird and the Black Drongo in all my visits in the last 10 days..

This morning I shot 138 images of an Indian Roller (may be the same bird) in six sessions. Full Frame.1/400; f9; ISO640; changed WB from auto to daylight and PS from Neutral to Portrait. Tomorrow I will try lower ISO.
