This very active bird was seen yesterday and not again. Would appreciate some one educating me on the specie.

This looks like a Chestnut tailed Starling. Nice image.Thanks for sharing.

Nice distinct image.As identified by Dr.Kakati, it appears to me to be Juvenile Chestnut-tailed Starling (Sturnus malabaricus malabaricus).Occasionally seen here near eastern wetlands of Kolkata.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Agree with Dr.Kakati on ID. Harsh light and the bright sky in the BG. u can try some +EC. what is the metering mode ? for more on this you can refer to the below tutorial.

Nice eye contact. You could have used a lower ISO as a lesser shutter speed would have sufficed here. There seems to be some noise in the background, is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

There were three (two of them above) and were moving very fast in the branches. Hence a higher shutter speed in TV mode.

Out of 31 images in about 20 seconds, this is the only image where the subject is visible in full and in a good placement. About 40% crop on left and top.

The metering is evaluative. The sun was coming up at about 8am directly to the subject.
