Good perch and eye contact. Seems the light has become harsh, what time was this photographed? You could have tried a narrower aperture here as the head is away from the body so more depth of field is required to get the body in focus. Thanks for sharing.

I find this specie also as elusive. This was shot at 735am. I think, compared to other species that I had photographed in the last few days, the color of the bird is reflective of light. I have had exposure problems. I am still trying to get a decent shot of this specie.
