Greater Coucal...also referred as Crow Pheasant

This bird, sighted on three consecutive days, is elusive. Does not stay in open, does not stay for long at one place. This is the BEST I could get on the third day. 1/250: 5.6; ISO 200; 100-400@400 in TV mode.

This reminds me of my childhood days as I used to see these in my backyard. I like their red eyes and their claws (which is not visible in this image). In this image more space on the right would have been better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image Anand. Isnt this same as the male koyal? atleast thats what I have been thinking. I also managed to click a couple of images of this guy but thought since this is a koyal and i had just posted a koyal image a few days back, chose to ignore posting it.
