Nice shot Atul. From the thumbnail I expected to see a mixed heronry... never expected bats :). This image is a very good record of the co-existence of these animals.

Nice landing pose. I agree it is tough to get the blacks and whites right. Nice to see both the species sharing the space. Were there other birds as well sharing the tree? Thanks for sharing.

Yes Mrudul, there were egrets, asian openbill, juvenile black crowned night heron there. Sometimes purple and grey heron also share the space.

Forgot to mention, today I also found Glossy Ibis there. will post some more habitat images
