shot in location at Tsitapuri in Arunachal, located close to Indo-Chinese border. 13700 ft above MSL. 7D with Tamron 18-270mm, f/9.5, 1/60, iso-100, fl 18mm, manual exposure. taking shots while tracking was extremely difficult due to breathlessness..low partial pressure of O2. C&C welcome. actively contemplating to buy a canon lens for landscapes, suggest pl.

Lovely landscape. Some more sharpness would have enhanced the composition further. The shutter speed was quite less, you could have increased the ISO to 200 or 400 to get a higher shutter speed and more sharpness. Wish the light was less harsh. Thanks for sharing.

I am presently using Canon 24-105 mm L series lens. I found it great for landscapes or for photographing large mammals at a close range. Canon 24-70 mm L series is one more good lens. You can check the details here -

WOW, I dont know much about the technical aspects of this picture. But this picture has a great feeling of wilderness. Standing on the edge of the mountain, observing the beauty of nature below. more I see this snap more it gives me the cool "warmth" of the nature down there. The water body is splandid..... Thanks for sharing

I use the 24-70 f2.8 L USM lens. Mrudul uses the 24-105 L IS USM lens. The 24-105 gives you image stabilisation and is lighter. The 24-70 is sharper but a heavy lens. You can also get a monopod. It will help as a hiking stick as well.

Look for any rocks where you can place the camera and click. Ofcourse, you may not find one at the place and height required by you.

Aim your lens breathe out slowly and then fire. Don't try to hold your breathe and click.
