Nice to see the family together. Rajeev, did you try any vertical compositions?

Nice to see so many grey hornbills. The perch and the eye contact is nice. Good that you got them all looking in the same direction. An off-centered composition with less space on the left and more on the right would be good. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see a few of them together. It will be interesting to know more about this jungle if you can furnish the details.

Dear Bhargava
Jahapanah forest is a small city forest just behind Greater Kailash 2 new delhi , I have lived in this area for the past forty years, after my recent interest in birding i have noticed amazing variety of birds in this dry bush acacia jungle in spite degradation of the last ten years

I had never heard of this place. I guess I need to find time to come to this place. The focus is right and it is good that they are looking in the same direction. I think you uploaded a large image. So the software converted it to a smaller size and the image quality got reduced. You need to post images with file size less than 300kb and maximum 1024 pixels on the longest side. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

the forest is just behind alknanda and W block. I have been going to this area since childhood. there use to be snakes, jackals and lots of butterflies and other insects ,it is not as lush now but is well protected and surprising number of small birds
