this was the best possible angle. bird was about to fly when i took the shot through my car window. hopefully a better angle next time. thanks.

Quite difficult conditions to photograph. Agree a frontal view would have helped to confirm the id. Its good that you carry your camera along with you, surely helps when you see something. Thanks for sharing.
