Nice image. If possible moving a bit more to the right would have enhanced the eye contact further. Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

Sambhar deer in ranthambore graze for water weeds in the lake i have another image where the sambhar is almost completely submerged except for the head . The tigers specially machli use to hunt in the water hence the name the lady of the lakes

Lovely image of the sambhar. The antlers look nice and the water ripples also enhance the image. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image.Agree with the comments on moving to the right........Including the shadow on the water would have been good.

The Lady of the Lakes was given by our PM Shri Manmohan Singh. To ensure an easy sighting, carcass was kept there for three days. She was so bloated after gorging on all the food that she was walking in a very slow pace. :D

However, I feel that we all stand to benefit when our leaders are able to sight a tiger in the wild. While passing through bandipur, Smt. Indira Gandhi had sighted a tiger. That memory had lasted and later on helped garnering support for tiger conservation. She banned Tiger Shooting and she approved the Project Tiger.
