Nice eye contact. The alert look is nice. If possible moving a bit more to the left would have been good to avoid the branch from blocking the beak. The shutter speed was quite less, you could have used a higher ISO like 400. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image.Eye contact,head turn look fine.Colours look natural.It is one of our bigger kingfishers, it whistles melodiously.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Good to see you back. I am sure you have now regained your health.
Nice to see this kingfisher. The light through the beak looks nice. The head turn is fine. Just that the beak is partially obstructed by the branch. Else, this image would have been strengthened. Thanks for sharing.
