This is really good, the pose, the eye contact, the colors, everything has come out really well. You probably could have reduced some space from the bottom. Adding more info like exposure really helps in critiquing the image. Also poor man's tele can be a little more accurate with the actual lens name (although it tickles a rib :laugh:) to understand the lens behavior and comment better.

P.S.:E.P.Gee used a Praktica camera,M.Krishnan used a custom-built camera.They are Greats with that.You have the eyes of a photographer.That is more important.

I agree with the previous comments. Equipment can be bought, aesthetic sense cannot.

Bird photography is equipment intensive ie. you need long lenses. However, with some effort and planning you can bypass that. Look for a hide or even create one with a gunny bag. In the olden days shikaris/poachers used to do that. They used to set up a hide near a waterhole or favourite perch of a bird and wait. Try that and you will get frame filling shots.

Lovely image Saurabh. The roller looks as if its dancing. The tail looks like its other leg and its wings give the feels its calling out and getting into a jig :) For a moment just place your finger over its left claw and you'd realise this effect. Nice image, Thanks for sharing.
