Nice image. Moving a bit more to the right would have enhanced the eye contact further. The shutter speed was quite low, what was the ISO? Reducing the saturation would be good. Is this a crop? There seems to be some noise in the background. Thanks for sharing.

In the original capture did you have more of the rock in the frame?

yes frame has slightly larger rock
