Sucheth,
This is a nice sighting. In such situations it is better to use manual focus, as the AF will invariably lock on to the grass.

Nice display of habitat. Its good you got one eye in the clear. Agree about the focusing. Thanks for sharing.

I like the composition and the eye contact here. Would have been better if you could have got the other eye in the open as well, but the overall theme works well here. Thanks for sharing. :)

Very nice image Sucheth. The feeling of the tiger coming out of the grass looks lovely. I have also been a victim to focus of subjects in grass. Agree with Sabyasachi on using manual focus. But I would also like to say that when such a majestic tiger is in front of you there's little time for other thoughts :) Thanks for sharing.

Hell Murugan Sir u r right sir this was the situation when this cub decided to jump from the water hole and coming on to the road thro this patch of grass, we dont know from which side it was coming luckyly our driver parked in proper position and told if it comes it will come here... it happened like that it came infront of our gypsy thro this patch of grass in that situation and excitment we dont know waht to do..... weather to go for manual or auto focus.. no time to react......
