I remember shooting these ducks at this lake in zone 3 (?) in February. The water looks almost like it does in my images. Fortunately or unfortunately, the birds near the lake- Treepies, spot billed ducks and ruddy shelducks, grey francolins are all used to vehicles so much that the treepies would even perch on our heads, and the usually very shy francolins go under the vehicles!
