Posting this for record. It was the first time I ever saw a gaur as pale as this. I was told that a huge semi-albino bull is responsible for the increasing number of white gaurs in the park.

Nice record. It does look different with more of whitish coat on the back. Nice display of habitat. Sighting a albino bull can be quite rare. Thanks for sharing.

Nice sighting Bhargava. I've read about albino gaurs but yet to see one.

Nice action photograph.I am glad that you have seen a light-coloured gaur in Satpura habitat which falls under nothern part of Indian peninsula.I have read that light-coloured gaurs are said to be seen in a part of Tamil Nadu( from field study of Late Shri M.Krishnan).So finding it in Satpura is a new experience.
Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Good to see this one. I had photographed one light coloured gaur calf in mudumalai in 2006 December. Thanks for sharing.
