The number of hours I have spent with leopards is not even 0.1% of the time I have spent with tigers. Came across this leopard and cub in Bandipur.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII ie. at 800 mm. ISO 400, f5.6, 1/320, EV: +1/3rd. I normally don't crop my images, but I have cropped this one from the bottom to give a near panoramic feel.

Look forward to your comments.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Two leopards in frame.. amazing... lovely image. backlight add to the beauty.
Do you have any frame both looking at camera? :D

Kiran,
Unfortunately no. They were ahead and the mother was taking the cub away. When the driver moved the vehicle a bit, the leopard ran into the bush and the cub followed. The langurs were alarmed and were calling from all directions. The leopard was cautious and didn't come out though we searched for an hour and half after that.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

The pano crop actually gives a nice feel of the images and the gait fills the image nicely... Would have liked a bit more sharpness. Nice shot... Wish the cub were a bit more visible...

Nice leopard Sabyasachi. Not sure about the sharpness as a leopard's eyes tend to lose themselves in the rosettes. This often conveys a feeling that the image is not sharp.

Very nice shot Sabyasachi. I would have given it a little more space on the right. Nice shot!!
