This article may be studied thoroughly but carefully.A part of the visible portion of the report (change in landscape etc.) has been seen by many of us.We are crying for the corridor to Rajaji N.P across Koshi river and are also aware about how mushrooming of private lodges along the Corbett boundary/Koshi river are creating impediment to movement of animals and dispersal of young male tigers to set up new territory.I think, some petition might have been filed before the Hon'ble High Court.If Yes,I have highest regard for our judiciary and we will ultimately get justice. NTCA has been moved,I believe, and we expect they will put up stiff resistance to any further damage to our natural wealth.About encroachment on Ramganga river, I had no previous knowledge.

The other part of the article contains certain exposures about which neither we, as nature lovers, have any knowledge nor we could have any access.After this publication,it is for the concerned individuals/appropriate bodies to raise/examine this issue and find out the truth.As nature lovers,we are concerned about information as contained in the first paragraph,in my view.I shall try to find out latest position on the same.

The challenge is that the tourism pressure is increasing in Corbett. Many resorts have come up and corporates have their conferences and people need their adventure sports etc. All the land bordering the National park and reserve forests have been bought over by influencial people in the hope of value appreciation and to create resorts. Only if tourism pressure comes down, there is some hope. However, irreversible damage has already been done.
