Found this very very small bird at one of the resort gardens at ECR. Wife says it could be a forest wagtail, but it is not expected to be found in this area. Can the ID be confirmed ?
5D M II, F6.3, 150-500, 1/125, bean bag support lying flat on the ground

A Forest Wagtail- Dendroanthus indicus, a winter visitor. Lovely sighting & capture.

Nice record. Agree with rajiv sab, does look like forest wagtail. when was this image made ? Although the habitat is not typical, they do winter in the south. Could be a bird in passage. If you have noticed it moves its tail from side to side and not up and down like other wagtails.

This was hardly 10 days ago, at the GRT Temple bay lawns. Yes, the sideways motion of the tail is quite comical yet captivating . . . .
Strangely, the image looks very soft, while the one we have on the system is a lot sharper with more details . . . .

Yes, the picture is soft. The size of the same is a little over the limit. Here is a smaller, yet sharper version of the same . . . .
