Just got two shots of this beautiful butterfly when I got too close and scared it away :P.

Shot at Kavaledurga fort near Mastikatte, Shimoga Dist. Karnataka.

Camera: Sony cybershot 12 MP, 4X zoom. :)

Wow I thought it was carrying a leaf. I had not seen this species before. Very well camouflaged. Thanks for sharing.

It is really very well camouflaged. The tip of the wings at the posterior resembles the stalk of the leaf. Was very difficult to spot. :)

Great. It is very difficult to spot it due to the camouflage. The evolutionary process is so amazing.
