Cattle Egret at Bhigwan Backwaters
I know this image is not very good one but still sharing as i somehow loved the habitat divided into three different colors and parts and Cattle egret enhanced the composition further..
Canon 550D, 1/400sec, Av Priority, f5.6, ISO 160, Focal length 300mm.

Nice walking pose. Looks like the egret has caught something. Off centered composition would have enhanced the image.

The egret seems to be really very far and the crop is not helping either. The details on the bird are washed out. What time of the day was it shot? We usually refrain from shooting during mid day as the light is harsh and the sun is overhead. Agree on the multi layered terrain which adds to the compo. Atul is right about the off centered compo.

On a side note I'm not really sure how a vertical would look like on this but would love to see one !!

Nice image. Do check your AF point, to see the focus area. Also is this a crop, as there can be loss of details. Agree with the above comments. Thanks for sharing.
