Nice eye contact.The bill looks smaller than that of an adult bird there is also the grayish wash on the breast, head and neck.

Lovely feel to the picture. Nice details and brilliant eye contact. Loved the walking pose and details. A lower angle (if possible) and a little more space in front of the bird would make this lovely composition even better.

Thanks Saktipadaji Roopak and Rajan .Rajan this image was taken from a bund looking down into the swamps below.A lower angle though very much desirable was virtually impossible.
