My Konkan....
Konkan... The monsoon changes the Konkan all together. One will see lush green mountains inviting. Rivers flowing in full glory. Water falls Every were.
This Image is dedicated to ShaktiDa...
Its a monsoon special water fall on way to Ratnagiri, The local name for the falls is SAVAT SADA, near the holy Bhoomi of Lord Parshuram.

Beautiful waterfall surrounded by greenery on all sides. Is the water flow quite high other times. I tried to remove the bright sky at the top by cropping some part at the top and a bit from the bottom to remove the hint of the man. You can try increasing the contrast slightly. Thanks for sharing.

"With what deep murmurs through time's silent stealth
Doth thy transparent, cool, and wat'ry wealth
Here flowing fall,
As if his liquid, loose retinue stay'd
Ling'ring, and were this steep place afraid ......."

Nice and very natural image. Like you, I love Konkan so much. Travelling from Mumbai to Ratnagiri or beyond by train during monsoon is wonderful. And also to Ganpatipule.........
Thanks for your kindness.

I agree that removing the man is better and gives a better feeling of the place. :) It is becoming difficult to find places without people and mosquitoes. :D We have become too numerous for our own good.
What time and when did you click it? There was a joy in watching numerous streams from the hills during monsoon while travelling in a train with window open. With increased affluence and travel by AC coaches or by flight, we have been deprived of those small pleasures of life. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
