Thats a rare photograph. I liked the perch and the composition. A slight head turn in your direction would have enhanced the composition further. Sharp image.

Great. If you can also mention the date then it would serve as a record for this sighting. I would open up the shadows a bit more so that the eye will become more prominent. Was it the only one? How was the interaction with other normal bulbuls?

This image was shot on 5th Jan. 2009. This bulbul was with other bulbuls in a flock and their behavior is normal.
