ID: Stink bug?
Was looking around for some interesting subjects, especially the butterflies, when this beauty flew in from a distance and landed on a dried flower and positioned itself right on the tip of it. This, along with a clear background, gave me a chance to get a good frame

Yes I think it is stink bug. The flower is quite bright and looks nice but I feel it is a bit distracting, takes the attention away from the main subject. Maybe including only half of the flower with slight more space on the top would have worked better. Did you try any other compositions? Is the AF point on the body? As the eye is not covered in the depth of field. Thanks for sharing.

The bug is not sharp. Did you try a vertical composition?

I didnt experiment with the framings, but I have one more slightly zoomed out framing.
Somehome Heavy sunlight and Liveview(for framing or crosschecking) doesnt go well, or may be I am not well exercised for it.
