Couldn't resist posting this after the Holy Cow controversy. While photographing I had felt a very serene look in its face.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, EF 1.4xII ie. at 560mm optical focal length, ISO 200, F4, 1/100. Full frame image.

Just back from Parambikulam... Saw hundreds of gaur there... mostly at night though :(
still was an amazing experience...
