SPAI survey shows a 62.7% increase in snow leopard 🐆 population in Himachal Pradesh

The elusive snow leopard is making a remarkable comeback in Himachal Pradesh! Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF), the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department, and incredible local communities—including courageous women from Kibber village—the latest Snow Leopard Population Assessment of India (SPAI 2.0) has revealed a 62.7% increase in population of snow leopards across Himachal Pradesh, compared to previous surveys!
