I liked the composition. You have got it close. The eye contact and the perch is nice. The light seems a bit harsh. I think (not sure) there are some details loss in the blacks, you can try to recover them. The catchlight in the eye looks good. Wondering how a b/w composition would look. Thanks for sharing.
