Good to see you shooting with the TC attached. The additional focal length hepls when shooting smal birds. Also, nice to see a close-up of this species..given the exif data, may be f8 would have been nicer:)

Wow! lovely bird, seeing it for the first time. I feel the dof is adequate infact f5.6 has made the subject stand out clear. In my opinion I am ok with these settings. The eye contact is excellent
