Jog Night Frog
This is by far one of the most amazing frog calls I have heard.
Nyctibatrachus jog, multiple males calling. They usually perch on leaves above a stream or on the banks of a stream when calling. There is some noise made by crickets and a nearby waterfall, which I have reduced as much as possible using a low-pass filter. (If you wish to try improving the quality, feel free to download and edit the clip.)
Recording distance: Approx. 1 ft
Recorder: ASR Recorder sw on a mobile phone
Editing sw: WavePad for Android

Wow! Lovely. This call is so exciting. There are so many different variables here. There is also sound of the stream and wind. I would love to record this in stereo.
PS: Mail me the unedited file and I will play around and see if I can do anything.

Very unique call. Doesn't seem like it might be a frog making that call :). Thanks for sharing.

Amazing. haven't heard this before. Except for the whistle at the end the first call is similar to a Brown hawk owls call, of course must have been much lower in volume.
