The habitat
This is one of my favourite images, showing Birds with their Habitat.
This was clicked in the early part of 2015 at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, one of my favourite destinations.
All these Birds are called Lesser Whistling Teals or Ducks (Xorali Huh in Assamese). These are also found in abundance in Assam during the Winters.
This is a largely resident species distributed widely across lowland wetlands of the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The species ranges across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. They also occur on islands in the region including the Andamans, Nicobars and Maldives.

Nice you could get so many birds in a single frame. The composition looks fine. Liked the display of habitat. Did you try any wider compositions? Thanks for sharing.

Lovely image. I too visited Bharatpur in 2016 Jan and these birds were there in good numbers. Patiently waiting can result in some good images. Thanks for sharing.
