Trying to blend in

ID: Katydid

One of the trait of these beautiful specimen, these katydids tend to align themselves along the centre of the leaves and try to blend into it to avoid getting detected. The frame shows one of the posture the beauty takes, it almost didnt move, probably after seeing me approaching it, probably another way to avoid catching any attraction.

I like this. You approached it from the side which makes it a bit easier. Else directly from the top with the leaf as background, it would be difficult to detect. Composition wise I would have loved less space at the top and more at the bottom. Thanks for sharing.
