Resting time
ID: BiColoured Leafcutter
While traversing the fresh monsoon drenched trail, and attempting to capture the rare(not sighted much, by me, in Thane) and elusive Picture winged Dragonfly, stumbled upon this massive beauty that seemed to be taking a break from the usual flight, unsure why at the mid of the day. The beauty, with its bright and vibrant hind side, stood out in the green surroundings and was least bothering by me approaching it, nor by the occasional rain drops that kept falling on it.
EXIF:
Canon 80D
Canon 100mm macro

Shutterspeed 1/320
ISO 500
Handheld, external flash fired

Looks nice. Since the day we increased the file size to 2000 pixels, we are able to watch and appreciate the macro subjects. There are some dust spots visible. For macro photography the dust spots in sensor is always a big irritant as one invariably uses narrow apertures. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Good details in the eye and the rear part of the body. The colours look nice. The hair also can be seen clearly. Nice capture. It helped that it was not bothered and let you come close to photograph. Thanks for sharing.
