Great image Sabyasachi, its so sharp & neat. I wonder how you manage all this, honestly i have not even tried to use a tripod:).
I have a question here is this Tiger portrait full frame or crop, can we crop images that are 100% sharp and clear and treat them as Portrait. My question may be silly but I thought let me get my basic rights.
Thanks,
Praveen,
This is one of the few images that I have cropped. The original file size is 2048x3072. I cropped it to 2007x2710. So it is a small crop to avoid a slight distraction at the top. I am uploading the uncropped ie. the full frame version of the image here.
I knew someone will ask question about sharpenss as the shutter speed was very low and I was handholding from top of an elephant. The sharpening is the default sharpening in lightroom. Amount 25, radius 1.0, detail 25, masking 0. I am happy about its sharpness.
When you crop images, you are throwing away lot of data. The image wont appear as good as your original.

Nice and sharp... the colours seem a bit muted... you can increase the vibrance a bit more..
Lovely closeup. Liked the eye contact. The crop works better. Nice composition.
beautiful picture..... love the sharp eye contact...
