White Bellied Woodpecker.

I did something to this photograph which I consider cheating. Can you spot it ?

Vikram, I am not able to find any problem with the image. But let me speculate:
This image is in very close proximity....you might have cropped it a lot. But not sure that would constitute sacrilege!
Somehow, i feel the eye of the woodpecker has been sharpened a bit. Perhaps a dot has been put deliberately!!

there is a similar species of woodpecker in the U.S. the coloration is almost identical and the average size is 12".

Yes , it is the eye - sharpened .
