Hi ,
Vikram Gupchup from Pune.

I guess one of the rare ones here , not being connected to the IT industry in any way.Professionally, I have a small business in Pune, We are into manufacturing of industrial plastic components.

Used to be a trekker . Now like to share my love for the jungles and culture with my small family and group of friends, using more conventional modes of travel.

I have posted mostly mammals here but what I like most is Insect macro .

I am a nikon person. I prefer older lenses. More for their charm and partly because I do not like to spend too much on photography :)

Currently using a D80 , 80-200 2.8 , 105 af (non D!) and 50mm 1.8

Good to know more about you. Why don't you upload here so that we can recognise each other. Look forward to your macros as well.

There is no end to spending in photography. In US it is easier for people to rent a camera and lens for a shoot. That way, one can easily avoid spending much on equipment. Unfortunately, we don't have that facility.
