A tale of two tigers
An image from the 100 minute odd sighting, where T-39 (female) and T-24 (male) are seen cozying up. I was told that the female is pregnant after successful courtship with this male, and I'm hoping we will hear about her litter soon.
It all started with us sighting the male lying down in dense vegetaion alongside the jeep track, and whn wee had spent a good 65min with him, we heard strong alarm calls of Chital coming from behind us and when we had gone to investigate the reason for such alarm, we found the charismatic femae walking straight towards us..err..the male!

Nice moment captured. The male looks quite huge. Good eye contact. Wish the leaf in the foreground was not blocking, nothing much you can do about it though. Is this full frame? Did you try a vertical, some more space at the bottom would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

Nice moment of intimacy captured. The tigress has accepted the advancement.Gone are the days of 'Sayambhar Sabha' with forest cover diminishing so much.May be one or two such 'sabhas' taking place in larger reserves. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

I agree with the previous comments. Nice eye contact. Without the out of focus leaf/branch infront below the eye, this image would have been strengthened. How much of crop? How many vehicles were there? Was it possible to move your vehicle and within your vehicle?
Cheers,

Thank you everyone for the comments. Image is near full frame with just about 3% crop from the left and top. Tjere were only two vehicles at the scene, and also only two positions from where the tigers could be seen. We took the better place as the other vehicle didn't have any photographers in it :) It was not possible to move the jeep any more as the tigers wouldnt be visible from anywhere else and the tigers were inside thick vegetation, though near to the jeep. I was already standing on the last row seat of the jeep to get them relatively in the open, so no option of moving within the jeep either.
