Hi all,
South Indian tigers are under-represented on IndiaWilds. So a record shot of my 16th individual tiger and my first South Indian tiger.

Almost smells of Rasam...:D
Nice pic while the king is on the move.
Apana,
Great that you shot one in the South. I have a love hate relation with the king in the south as far as photography is concerned. 100% love from my side, but ...... :D Have watched a tiger in my Safari headlights for about 20 mins or so, before I switched off the lights and sat silently in the moonlight with the tiger about 15 feet above on the hill. Then I switched on the light and watched the tiger for another 10-15 mins and then swtiched off and sat there. The tiger was still there and finally I left it and returned back. Have heard the moaning calls, growls etc but haven't been able to click.
I like the framing in this image.
Cheers,
