T23, Ranthambhore
Dear All,
Male Tiger from the Zone 2 of the RNP, Rajasthan.
He heard us approaching from a long way off, and with understandable annoyance left the cool confines of the eutrophic waterhole he was wallowing in. It was sweltering hot in the Ranthambhore national park and this particular male tiger, T23 I am told, is one of the lesser seen reclusive tigers in the park. We caught up with him further on , sitting besides the jungle track, barely 10feet away from our vehicle, tail twitching to show his displeasure before the sound of other approaching safari vehicles, spooked him and he bounded away into the thicket.

Lovely image of this hulk. His pose doesnt look relaxed and as you have mentioned he seems displeased.Lovely eye contact, the mud and vegetation marks on his body is well documented. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a huge fellow. Good eye contact. The mud on the face and paws look nice. Maybe you could have moved the camera just a bit more to the right to frame with the stick on the left. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Does look like a handsome fella. You got the eyes nicely; there seems to be a curious look from him. Well made image.

Healthy fellow. Love to see such tigers. Nice perspective. Slightly more space at the bottom would look nice. Without the tree on the left, the image would have looked even better. Thanks for sharing.
