The Kalij Pheasant (Lophura leucomelanos) is a pheasant found in the forests and thickets, especially in the Himalayan foothills. They were plenty in numbers (more than 7 to 8) when we sighted in the field.

Yes they are very shy.....almost found in low light region.....It was my 1st good sighting of life....Quote:
