White Wagtail
This image is from my archives. We were trekking in the western ghats when we came across a water body where we saw a few birds. This wagtail specifically was of interest because it didn't get scared and came quite close to us in spite of the place not being inhabited by humans.

Nice to see this one. They way these fellows wag their tail is interesting. The best thing to do when they are close is to sit down on the ground and wait for them to move around to a good position. That will give a clean background. In this case slight head turn would have resulted in the sunlight falling on the eye and the catchlight would have elevated the image. Thanks for sharing.

Wildlife photography is so beautiful because of the element of uncertainty. Everything is so nice in the photograph except missing a pencil of sun rays illuminating the eyes. You may not again get the same surroundings but will remember this 'miss' more than many of your finest images. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice you got this one so close. Agree waiting for a slight head turn would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.
