Liked the colours. The vertical composition is nice. The light seems a bit harsh. The focal length is 85mm, did you use the 100-400mm lens :)?

I would call this a water lily, Lotus has leaves held over the water , the shape of the flower and the size is also different .
We saw plently of lotus plants and flowers at the lakes in Tadoba during March .
We were able to see the flowers from a distance .Also saw some tribals/ village folk collecting the lotus rizhomes but did not get any images as it was a bit out of the way.
