The face of the venom
ID: Indian red scorpion
A close up shot of the beautiful, yet venomous, scorpion that seemed to be all flattened down onto the ground, hardly moving, probably due to the cold weather. The static behavior of it encouraged me to venture a bit more closer and get a tighter frame of the frontal area of the beauty, ample enough to get the chelicerae(mouth parts) and the tiny, charming, eyes.
EXIF:
Canon 80D
Canon 100m macro + Raynox
F/18
Shutterspeed 1/160
ISO 320
Handheld, external flash fired

The flash has created bright unwanted highlights in the mouth portions. The image looks a bit soft. Is it due to crop or due to the raynox? A bit wider to get the complete claws would have been better. Thanks for sharing.

Sir, it might be soft due to the Raynox, mostly
